MY STORYMy musical journey began in high school jazz and show choirs, where I fell in love with vocal harmony.
After 20 years singing in a rock band, I’m thrilled to join the Ukuladies, rekindling my love for multiple harmonies. With a deeper understanding of how the brain processes music, I now appreciate it in a new light. Blending science and song in this new chapter feels like the perfect harmony.
In college, I studied music business and performance, but my curiosity led me to neuroscience. I eventually earned my PhD while navigating the delightfully chaotic life of raising two kids and two cats. Amidst the chaos, singing was my escape.
